God is always a willing participant who provides solutions to every challenge that man faces. However, God seeks men who are yielded to him, in whom he can impart this same willingness. Men who have been trained and anointed so that what is with God, through them, can now be present with man. In this continuing message titled, "What it means to be anointed Part 2," Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains that the way the Lord prepares us to be anointed to be a gift unto others is in the laying down of our lives. It involves letting go of our self-determined good as well as our selfishness and love for the world for the sake of others. This self-denial is how God trains us to love others, and we must take this training seriously.  He emphasizes that God wants to bring us to a place where we can do things in His name, that is, represent Him in the situations of life, but we have to consecrate ourselves to this purpose. He draws analogies from Peter and John's encounter with the Spirit and the eventual healing of the lame man, to illustrate how our anointing serves others.  Beloved since the deliverance and solutions of others are dependent on our consecration, what are we willing to do to take stock of the good the Lord wants to bring to others?
