Margaret Moore, also known as Coach Meg, is a trailblazer in wellness coaching. After a 17- year career as a biotech executive, she founded Wellcoaches Corporation in 2000, training over 16,000 professionals worldwide. She co-founded the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and helped establish the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching. Author of The Coaching Psychology Manual and other books, she continues to shape the future of coaching through science-based leadership and system change.
In this episode, Margaret opens with a powerful story of personal transformation that reconnected her to a long-dormant joy and vitality. Through practices like hypnotherapy, she explores how healing the subconscious can unlock new dimensions of presence and purpose. We talk about what it means to take full emotional responsibility as a leader, and how the boundaries between coaching and leading are often more porous than we think. Margaret reflects on the loneliness of visionary leadership, and how the best guides are often those quietly integrating their own growth. We also discuss how coaches are increasingly stepping
into leadership roles—and how leadership itself may be evolving in response.
